1999 Honda Accord Struts
Suspension problem
1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 175k miles
Generally speaking - at what mileage should you replace the struts. Our Honda has a few miles (175k) on it & the tech are suggesting new struts.
They are also suggesting upper & lower radiator houses.
thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
It depends on the type of driving and can be as early as 50k miles. If there are no leakages, the struts can more or less last forever but comfort and stability would be compromised.
The upper hoses would always require replacement much earlier than the lower hoses as operating temp for both are different. If they are hard to the touch, it is best to replace them.
