1995 Honda Accord Repair Question

1995 Honda Accord won't start
the car will turnover and sound like it's going to start but won't. i put the accelerator 1/2 way down and try again but nothing. Do you think it could be the starter? Suggestions welcome.

You need to check two basic things. Spark and fuel. You want to know that fuel is getting in to the cylinders. With a plug out and turning over the engine you should smell a strong odor of gas at the hole. Check for spark at the plugs. The spark should be a blue crisp spark at the plug.
