1993 Honda Accord EGR valve and sensor replacement

1993 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 190000 miles
I have a 1993 Honda Accord 10 anniversary edition and I am experiencing some electrical problems. I took it to the shop and the mechanic said I have a reading of: #12 for failed EGR Valve and sensor due to plugged and clogged intake manifold ports.
If i change the EGR valve and sensor, will this take care of my issue?
