1993 Honda Accord Drums or Discs?

I need to buy a new HubAssembly for the rear passenger side of my car, but everything I see is for drum brakes only. I don't know if I have drum or disc. How can I tell or can someone tell me?

Hi Dkoots,

Dics you can see the shiny rotors and the brake calipers.

Drum is covered and you can only see a round cover.

okay I'll go check. I cant seem to find any vehicle specs that will simply tell me one way or the other. One more thing. Why would an assembly not work with disc brakes and only drums?

Hi Dkoots,

The design is different.

Yeah, I guess I have discs. I can see the shiny rust color and the caliper. My last question is one I think I already know the answer to. Front bearings aren't the same as back bearings are they? It seems crazy that nobody has the rear part.

Hi Dkoots,

Yup, the front uses a bearing assy which is sepearate from the hub whereas the rear hub is part of the bearing.

The scrapyard would not sell you the bearings only, it ia sold as a unit.

Only new bearings can be bought separately.
