While car is idling it bucks back and forth, RPM is below 1 runs fine when you're driving but when I stop at sa a light it idles terrible, car sat for 3 years, I had things repaired it ran fine, then started to idle bad, I've gone the good gas route and nothing, someone mentioned vacum, even if I give a little gas at idle to bring up RPM's to 1 still feels like engine is bouncing back and forth, RPM needle bounces up and down below 1

Hi finsrback,

When the idling speed is erratic, it usually is caused by
1. Clogged air passages through throttle body and IAC ( EACV ) or vacumn leakages.
2. Imporper adjustment of idle adjust screw.
3. Tight valve clearances
4. Loose timing belts.
5. Loose distributor rotor arms, spaark plugs and wires.
