1990 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 218000 miles

honda runs pertty good for 9 or10 miles then stalls right out. Let it sit for a few minutes and it will start right up and go for a mile or so. Just put a new timing belt and water pump in it but I noticed it was getting hot but did not boil over. Starting to drive me cray
