1990 Honda Accord Repair Question

1990 Honda Accord burning oil
1990 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 159000 miles
i am wondering what some of the solutions could be for this problem. I added no smoke to the engine and it seems to be worse. The car is burning some oil. THe bottle said this could be caused by pistons, or carbon chamber. Any insight would be helpful, want to sell car and wondering how costly this could be.

Hi pfanelli,
The highest percentage of engine oil consumed by the engine is via the valve seals. Replacing them should cut down at least 60 % of the consumption.
