1972 Holden HQ 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual? Miles

My 202 red motor is shorting out at the at every place from the fuse panel through the coil and into the distributor. I have recently bought a new coil for it and its the right one too.
How do I fix it?

You will have to isolate the short, start with disconnecting the coil (-) wire, if the short is gone it will be in the distributor, start here and let me know what you find.
