headlights flashing

my headlights are flashing while the engine is off. There is also a clicking noise.

That would indicate that there is an alarm system that has been tripped. It may be factory or it may be an aftermarket system. The first thing I would try would be to lock all the doors and unlock with a key from the driver's door. You may have to take it to an alarm specialist though.
