Have fire going to plugs but wont start

I just put a timing beltang. It was a good stripper there so it was pulled have everything lined up has fire cranks but wont startwhat am I to do

If the original timing belt broke, that is a problem. This is an interference engine. If the old belt broke, I need you to check engine compression. Most likely you have some bent valves.

Check that and let me know what you find. Also, let me know if the engine sounds odd when trying to start. If everything is good, will the engine start with starting fluid?
