This is a 92 GMC Vandura 3500 series with a 5.7L V8. I need to know the procedure for removing the oil pan because the gasket is leaking and I need to replace it. Need it ASAP, thanks for the help as always.

Disconnect neg battery cable. Drain oil from pan. Remove trans inspection cover. Remove upper half of fan shroud. Remove both motor mount bolts, lift motor until the mount bolts can go back in to hold the engine up a little bit(on top of mounts). With the engine up this little bit, you should be able to unbolt the pan and remove it. Sometimes the exhaust is in the way a little, if that is the case, unbolt it from manifolds and you should be able to pull it down enough to get the pan out
