Brake Pads
I replaced the brake pads and rotors on my 2000 GMC Sonoma with the cheapest pads they had and didn't like them because they squealed whenever the brakes were applied. I have since then replaced them with the expensive ceramic ones and I still have the same problem. I have also tried spraying the back of the pads with the no squeal spray. What could be causing this problem. Thanks.

The squeal is not really a squeal but a resonance between the rotor and the pad. You need to get some OEM anti squeal paste and apply it to the back of the pads where they contact the calipers. Make sure all the anti rattle clips and shims are in place-- Good luck you have a 60/40 chance it will work.
