I do not have power to the diagnostic connection for the scanner tool. I have checked every fuse in both fuse panels. The scanner will read codes if I put a battery in it but it will not clear the codes. The truck runs fine (although the check engine light is on). I tried the scanner in another truck and it worked as it should have, powered by the diagnostic connection. Were does the diagnostic connection get power from in an s-10?
