1992 GMC Sonoma Key switch/door locks dead
I have a 92 sonoma that ive been driving for a while with a broke ignition switch (the switch would work fine, and lock, but once the truck was started you could pull the key out without affecting anything). The other day on a short run to wal-mart I got there perfectly fine as usual, but after shutting the truck off going inside and back out, the ignition switch and door locks are dead. you can turn the switch to any position and feel it going into each position (acc, run, start etc) but nothing happens. I thought this was just the switch went all the way out but my power door locks quit working as well. I can not find any blown fuses, circuit breakers tripped, bad or stuck relays, anything. My lights, cigarette lighter, anything i have on a switch like neon lights etc, works and all my interior lights work so I know I dont have a battery or dead fuse block issue. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
