My truck will occasionally be totally dead with no power to lights, locks, windows, dash, etc. It will not start. The first time it happened, I took the battery in and it tested good. When I put the battery back on, the truck started but would not idle. After a couple of minutes, it started and everything was fine. This same routine happens about every 3-4 months. There is no code set so dealers/mechanics are mostly worthless. Today, I did not have to disconnect the battery. It reset itself after about 5 minutes. Once started, the truck runs fine until the next episode. Any ideas?
