1991 GMC Sierra steering column

Steering column is loose @ pivot point by dash. I fixed 4 yrs. ago, but i'm in the middle of it and i can't get the housing off that surrounds the plastic ball joint for the tilt steering. I can't remember how i did it last time. any ideas on what's holding me up?

Nice picture. Wish more people would do that.
My cut and paste isn't working for some reason, but I can fax you an exploded view if you have a #. It's of a blazer, but the same thing.

The steering column was my first question on this site so I can't PM you. Don't know how else to contact. Hope it works. Don't have a fax#. If you could send the exploded view of the steering column when your cut and paste works I would appreciate it. Thanx again
