Engine Performance problem
1987 GMC Sierra 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 270000 miles
my truck idle starts to slow until my truck dies when i stop like at a red light. or any time i stop , i can keep it running by shifting to neutral what is this/

Check the idle air control valve/throttle position and manifold absolute pressure sensor/PCV and EGR valves to include a fuel pressure test
