Remove engine cover: 2 - 10mm screws on each side top and 4 - 10mm nuts (2 top behind lower-dash panel) & 2 at floor. remove junktray & unplug cigarette lighter cable on left. remove heater duct (2 pieces). undo 2 belt straps at floor hooks. slide engine cover straight back, with support to avoid tearing foil insulation underneath. 2 rear plugs on driverside & 3 on pass.side are accessible. jack frontend at center to provide clearance to work over tire in wheelwell behind splasguards and access 2 right-front & 1 left- front plugs. plugwires have metal heatshield sleeves.
Carefully slide enginecover over engine, supporting as best can be to prevent tearing insulation, latch straps to hooks, replace ductwork, plug in ciglighter cable, bolt it up, replace lower-dash panel and junk tray.
