I have a 1996 Gmc Safari awd with aproox 120 thousand miles. I honestly dont know what size the engine is. but the problem is last week i had the starter replaced and everything was fine, and then about 2 days later i went out and started the car and the brake light on the dashboard is now on and will not go off, i thought it was the emergency break but it will not go off even though the emergency brake is released. please help i need to get an emissions test this week. any idea what might be the problem.
