98 Safari Air temp SES light code 0113 reoccurring
1998 GMC Safari / 105,000 miles / v6 262 cid.
I have an annoying SES light?
every time I have to disconnect the air temp sensor to get at a part to replace like the water pump/ belt or just last week the alternator. I keep getting the SES light coming on with a code of 0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input. I have a code reader (not the best) that will turn the light off. but after a few miles it will come back on. I have changed the sensor with three different sensor and still the same. I always disconnect the battery when doing these repairs. why is this always happing?
does the van go into limp mode with this code?
it seems to run just fine/ with no adverse affects/
thanks Joe
