This van will not start. We had problems for a couple of days and we got it started by pulling up on the shifting level. Know this will not work. There is power to the starter put when you turn the key, nothing happens and all the dash lights go out. I have checked all of the conections and all are tight.

check your shift link connected to your transmission under your car it could be that its gotten lose if its not in the park position it will not let you start your car in fact you will not hear any crancking at all basically it might be in reverse or another gear even though your shifter shows that its in park. Hope that this helped you out.
