Timing gears verses timing chain
Hello,
Can you run timing gears rather than a timing chain in a 5.7 liter 1995 chev cheyenne 4X4 5 speed manual? I am building an engine and have installed timing gears. I have been told that if the truck has a knock sensor the use of gears is not recomended. Can you verify best option?
