Hot air all the time

I have a 98 Chevy Blazer. The alternator went up and I had to get it towed. Once I replaced the alternator the vents blow hot air all the time. I have never had this problem before and can't figure out what the problem is. It is winter now, but summer is coming soon. Thanks!

Inside the blower box, mounted on the fire wall, there should be a plug w/ a resistor coil, check and make sure the plug is not corroded or the coil is not damaged. Some models you can see, others are inside the box.

The problems may not be related, have a test done on the condensor and make sure the cooling agent is full.
