Fuel Pump?
I am working on a 1988 Chev. G20 van w/ a TB 305 powertrain. Sometimes it starts, & sometimes it won't, but after waiting a day or so it will start. On occaision it turns over quite a few times before it fires. I suspect the fuel pump, any thoughts?

Sound slike a bad oil pressure switch. The fuel pump circuit goes through the pressure sw before it gets to the pump. You must have oil pressure to run after the fuel pump relay times out (about 5-9 seconds) Good luck
