Hello I need advice on my vechicle I have a 89 pontiac GTA Transam 5.7L V8 TPI 72,000 miles
. After I installed a hydrogen generator and ran the car on it for a hour, my car wouldnt start. I was getting code 34 flashing on the dash, which is map maf sensor pressure. This happened to me in the past with this device. The first time I had to let the car sit for a day and the next day it started fine with the device dissonnected.
Well the makers of the hydrogen generator said that some cars you may have to retard the timing on it, because the hydrogen burns quicker then the gasoline. If my timing got messed up would that give me a code 34?
The generator doesnt run solo on the car it only shoots hydrogen into the car intake which is after the maff sensor. The car still runs gasoline and isnt a hydrid. IT just uses some gas from the generator and the car to save you on fuel economy up to 22 percent. It burns both at same time. I read that a clogged catalyic convertor would do this, but my exhaust system is new.
I just checked the car today and It runs but when u stepp on the pedal is dies. I dissconnect the maff sensor and it runs fine. When I plugg sensor back in when car is running it kills it. Any help is appreciated

Thought I would tell everyone what I found out. Whenever you install a fuel saving device that alters your fuel ratio you need to buy a device called the electronic fuel injection enhancer. It cheats the o2 sensor so that you can adjust the ratio to make your car run lean or rich. My car was running very lean on hydrogen which the computer sees as bad because it is out of spec the fuel ratio that is. You can adjust a screw on the device that will richen or lean the engine.

It looks like you've had the hydrogen generator for a few weeks now. Is it working for you? Has your mileage improved?
