CLUTCH ON OLD HOLDEN
Im not sure if you will be able to help me, I have a 1978 holden kingswood hz wagon 276 198 miles, it has a reconditioned engine and a fairly new 5 speed supra gearbox put in. Im having a problem with the clutch in that I cannot put it into gear when the car is turned on. I changed the adjustment so that it engages when the car is not on, but the second engine is switched on it will not change. When driving the car (before it became so bad that I cannot put into gear at all) I would accelerate and hear the engine whining but only verry slowly accelerating. I bled the clutch and went through several entire reservoirs of brake fluid but there is still air in the system (dont worry I am topping it up). Have you any idea what the problem is?
