When I am stopped there is a noise from the rear it sound like the car wants to keep going. It only seems to do this when I am stopped and it jerks a bit and quits when I start again.

It has 130,000 miles on the car.

Isn't this car a front wheel drive? If not then I would be thinking u-joint but if it is FWD I'm not sure what else could be causing noise back there except something in the brake dept. If FWD maybe look at front brakes or possibly c-v joints. Just a couple thoughts of somewhere to start. Not sure what noise it would make to seem to want to keep going? any extra info would be helpful, sorry you waited a while for a response but everyone does have more to life than this site and gives answers recieving nothing in return but a thank you once in a while. Try showing some patience, please. :!:
