Car won't start

I have power to lights, windows, radio, etc. Fuel pump is coming on, but car won't start. When I turn the key, I just get a clicking noise and nothing else. Tried to jump start and nothing. Do I have an alternator, starter or cylenoid(sp?) problem. Is there a way to check this or start car.
