Car stalls

When I start the car it dies out on me sometimes one to two times. When driving it stall on me once in a while. When taking my foot off accelerator Rpms will drop significantly and then rise back up to where they should be. What is wrong?

Hard telling without knowing what car you have. Tell us what year, make, engine, mileage, etc. Kinda sounds like a fuel delivery problem, or a dirty filter, maybe a weak acc. Pump if you have a carb, or dirty injectors if you E.F.I.. Might tell you more and have better ideas when you let us know what you have. :Shock:
