Antifreeze on the floor

There is antifreeze on the floor drivers side. The car smells like antifreeze and the windows fog up from the inside. My brother in law installed a new heating coil and it is still leaking. Could it be that he did not install it correctly or could there be another problem?

HELLO: Sounds like either a defective heater core or the hoses are not on tight at the firewall and coolant is sneeking past into the passenger compartment. Check it oyt, but it is one of the two
good luck
Darryl.

Sounds like a broken heater core. This is usually located passenger side behind the firewall in the cabin. This would explain the pool of coolant inside the car. The fogging is due to the hot coolant circulating in the car, you should notice the engine running hot. If it sprays enough inside the car it can damage the ECU and other electronics in the dash. You will want to fix this as soon as possible.
