1999 Other GMC Models ABS Brakes activate during normal usag

1999 Other GMC Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles
Can you tell me why the ABS brakes on my Suburban activate during normal usage in perfectly dry conditions. For example even during a normal approach and stop at a stop sign. The brakes pads have been replaced, they cleaned the contacts for the ABS and they said everything else with the brakies are fine. Any ideas?
