Models dies in hot weather at freeway speeds
Engine Performance problem
1994 Other GMC Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 55000 miles
I've changed the fuel filter (on frame rail). After the Suburban dies, I wait a couple of minutes and the truck starts and runs like there's no problem and will get me 40-50 miles until I get home with no further events. It happens only once every few months, it happens after the truck is warmed up (gone a minimum of 15 miles), gives no warning, it happens when I'm going 65-75 mph, and is scary at best.
