1990 GMC Other Repair Question

1990 Other GMC Models Just bought a beat up Rally Wagon
1990 Other GMC Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles
I picked up a used 1990 GMC Rally Wagon that someone had been using as a work van. It's going to be a project van, and I have lots of plans for the interior and whatnot but would love to make sure it's ready to be driven everyday first. I was just curious as to the things you would check/replace right off the bat in order to ensure I have a vehicle that's not going to sitting on the side of the road every other day. Thanks!
