GMC Jimmy Repair Question

Wheelbearing
My 96 GMC Jimmy is making a very loud whirring noise, not all the time, but quite a bit. People tell me its the wheelbearing. Its coming from the right front tire. Could you please help, and maybe give me the cost of repairing it? thank you

Does the noise change if you make a left versus a right turn?
They are pricy, a guess of a few hundred to five hundred.

i drive 1 94 GMC yukon, your cars big brother pretty much, i had the same type of noise and it was my front left wheel bearing, i did it myself for only around $150, very simple.
