This truck will just quit running like you cut the switch off. Even while driving.I have been trying to fix for over a year. This is what I know it is getting fuel to the fuel rail. So far it has restarted someimes it starts right up sometimes after sitting a few min.
This is what I don't know. Why?
ps I have unpluged the connections and put electrical grease on them they all look good. Check engine light does not come on. Thanks Richard

I believe what is happening is, the fuel being restricted, either by a plugged fuel filter or water in the fuel tank causing the Pump to heat up the fuel relay and shutting it down until the relay cools off, and it starts again. Check your fuel pressure. It should be a minimum 55 psi. You may have to purchase a fuel gauge and take it with you. So when the truck dies, you can check the fuel pressure.
