I have a 2002 GMC Sierra / 2500. When I use the heater in defrost mode I get an intermittent sound that sounds like an electrical short and a deep sounding grown.
My thought is that the air conditioner compressor is some how trying to start when it should not be? Both air and heater seem to work ok. I have taken it to the dealer and they have not been able to reproduce the problem?
