THE RPM GO 3000-4000 AND SOMETIMES YOU CAN LEFT OFF THE GAS AND IT WILL CHANGE GEARS AND SOMETIMES IT WON'T AND THE RPM AT 50 -55 WILL STAY AT 2000- 2100. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON. The facy you have a code means you have a starting point...get the code(s) read. Aytozone wll do it free, then post the result here. There are a few TSB's on tranny's used in these trucks! It would be helpful to read the cod, and if possible tell me what tranny you have...Is it a diesel? What engine? V8 we have but there is a label under the hood, called V.E.C.I. The engine size in litre is on the label!
