My truck has coolant (I think) leaking out of the exhaust pipe. It is a somewhat slow to steady drip. I need to use the truck tomorrow. Is it okay to drive it for an hour or two?

And what is my problem? I am not positive that it is coolant, but I don't think that much condensation would be dripping all of the time. The truck runs great, no noises or anything...

Thanks,

God bless,

John

collect some of the stuff coming out of the exhaust and check if its water or coolant. how much white exhaust is coming otu with it running, have you ever put in water remover in the gas.

Thanks, It looks like it was just a TON of condensation. Maybe a lot of water in the fuel, but I don't know. I will get some water remover for the fuel... Anyways I took it into the shop today and they said they were good. Thanks for your help.

I have donated some on my other thread. I just wanted to have an open thread so anybody could post. Somebody on my other thread has helped me out, and I have donated some there...

God bless,

John

if its that bad you might consider a new fuel filter and drain the tank of gas!

you should follow the fuel system water remover with some engine cleaner to get rid of the rust and deposits from the water and also clean up the combustion chambers because fuel system cleaners leave quite a bit of deposit.

Thanks a lot. I will do that. I have the fuel filter, and I just need to replace it. Good idea on the cleaner too.

God bless,
