Transmission problem
1991 GMC C2500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i need help with my trannny, I gave someone a boast the battery cable came of and grounded itself on the frame, someone said it shorted out the pcm module, my trannny will not change gears. It stays in drive, and not change out. Someone says to change pcm module, and then it will change gears. What do you think.

Ground it out usually blows many fuses and relays. Check all relays and fuses for proper working order before replacing anything. You may get lucky and find blown fuse or faulty relay and not need to replace the PCM module.
