P0410 error, secondary air injection trouble
I have a 2001 5.3L Z71 sierra with 70,000 miles. I recently took it for a smog inspection and it failed throwing the code P0410. I checked the fuse, it's fine, at start up the air pump does engage then stops after about 15 seconds. could it be the EGR valve? how can i go about trouble shooting the problem?

u need an electric pollution air pump
make sure u change the one way valve and hose if not the old one let water in
causing the failure

do you know any place they can be purchased. i checked the local auto parts stores and they don't seem to carry it. do i have to go specifically to the dealer to get the pump?
