I have a 1999 GMC Sierra extended cab pickup. It has aprox. 135,000 miles. The engine size is 1500.

I noticed that the a/c was not blowing cold air. I examined it tonight and discovered that the compressor belt was broken.

Please instruct me on how to replace the belt. Also, let me know of any other complications that may have caused the problem.

My suggestion would be to buy a manual for this vehicle. Most auto parts store's carry them. They will show you all you need to know to replacing many things, and also give you a head's up on what to watch for.
