When the vehicle is driven a distance of 10-15 miles or more the transmission shifts very rough in 1st and 2nd gear. If I turn it off for a few seconds and restart the transmission shifts normally for 10-15 miles. Had the transmission replaced with a GMC factory rebuilt, 3500 miles since, and now it has started again. Any suggestions for the mechanic because it does not activate an error in the diagnostic computer. Replaced the battery and alternator, does not run hot. Not a diesel, so you think it is a computer issue? What do I do with the info you posted? Is this something my mechanic will understand?
