Electrical problem
1996 GMC C1500 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
Engine quit shortly after putting in 5 gallons of gas, towed home, replaced fuel filter, seems to get plenty of fuel when the spot where fuel pressure gauge can be attached is pressed with a screwdriver.
Tried removing aiir intake cover and shooting carburator choke cleaner into carburaetor. ( engine is equiped with a throttle body). Engine would fire onec and then stall again.
Checked ignition coil with ohm meter, 2 of three tests passed third failed.. Is it possible ignition coil is bad or possibly something else?
