2008 GMC Acadia 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 52000 miles
I recently struggled getting the rear rotors off the car. It was my first time trying to change pads and rotors. After many hours of banging and pulling, a friend showed me that you need to remove the rubber plug, look through the hole and loosen the emergency brake adjuster. Then the rotor popped right off. I think you should include this advice somewhere in your discussion of changing brake rotors. Reading it would have saved me a lot of time, effort and frustration.
