1989 Geo Spectrum Repair Question

Engine stalled
Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Geo Spectrum 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 93,000 miles
My 89 Geo Spectrum stalled,managed to restart it but could only keep going 500 ft. in low stalled again wont restart. Had a burnt rotten egg odor but took exhaust pipe off at manifold still wont start
