1992 Prizm SK54, 4cyl., auto, 70,000 miles. Recently bought this car for my mother, drove it around for a month before driving it to her home 300 miles away.
No problems. Got there and my brother drove it one mile, and it has not started since. He said that when he tried to start it again smoke came out around the speedometer. It was clicking when key is turned,but now doesn't do anything. Had starter checked at auto store and it was fine. Any ideas?
