1995 Geo Metro Front Wheel Drive Manual

My speedometer will not work, How do I Fix it.
everything else on my dashboard works, the rmps, gas gauge, and engine temp. But not my speedometer, I have a 1995 Geo Metro, 3 cycl 1.3 lit manual. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Is the speedometer sticking, reading inaccurate or not reading at all?

It is not reading whatsoever. No movement.

Your speedometer is operated by a mechanical speedometer cable. The cable has either became disconnected from the rear of the instrument cluster or it has broken / kinked up somewhere between the instrument cluster and where it attaches to the transaxle
