My 2010 Mariner makes loud clicking noises when making turns on hot days only. What could be causing this to happen?

Hello,

I have seen the front bearing hubs go out on these cars here is a video of a hub bearing being done on a similar car, the process is the same. There are diagrams and instructions below to show you on your car.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I just replaced the following:
1. Tie rod ends (right & left)
2. Front wheel bearings (only-not the entire hub assbly) both sides
3. Both struts

After 3 days it started vibrating ( I can feel it thru the steering wheel and when I brake. Brakes and rotors were replaced only 1,000 miles ago. As time progresses the brakes are getting loud also
Frustrated as He#@!
Please help!
Thanks
BMac

The first thing to look at is putting the wheels back on. It's critical to use a click-type torque wrench and the lug nuts must be tightened to the specified setting. Uneven tightness causes uneven clamping forces. With repeated heating and cooling cycles that leads to warped rotors.

New rotors also often warp, especially those made in China. There's nothing wrong with how they're made but when we make parts out of cast iron we let them age 90 days before they get their final machining. The Chinese parts are cast, packed, and shipped right away, then they age on your car. Usually one light machining by the shop that did the brake work is all that's needed and is nothing out of the ordinary.
