Windstar brake light
Hi There
I have a 1998 Ford Windstar about 140000 mileage
Today I discovered that my brake light came on whenever I came to a complete stop as I drove. Would come off as soon as I started to accelerate.
The brakes are not noisy. Any idea if this is something serious, I am driving out of town tomorrow.

The red light or the yellow abs light??? If the red light is on, first thing is check the brake fluid level, if it's low, refill and then find out why... slightly lowered level is fine, as the brakes wear down the level will drop, but never enough to set the light to come on, re your other post, just go to the local parts store and get some fluid, any ??? the people there can steer you in the right direction
