misfire cylinder

i have a 2000 ford windstar with 99,000 miles. it is a 6 cylinder van and i brought it to the shop because my engine light is on, i had a tune up and the light is still on because they say i have a misfire cylinder#3. please tell me the cheapest way to fix this or tests i can do to see what the problem is

the shop that did your work should fix the problem for you if not there not much of a shop.and i wouldn't go back there. a bad coil, wire ,or plug could be the problem. But just saying that you have a V6 engine is not really enough info you need to state liter like is it a 3.8,4.0,3.0 and so on the reason for this is some of these engines had headgasket problems and water in a cyclinder can cause a misfire. all these things need to be checked. 8) NOS
